Dreams

Abu Hurayrah (radhiAllaahu 'anhu) narrated that the Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:
Towards the end of time, a Muslim's dream can hardly be false. The truest dream will be of the one who is himself the most truthful in speech. The true dream of a Muslim is one of forty-five parts of prophethood, and dreams are of three types
(1) a good dream which is a form of glad tidings from Allah;
(2) a dream which causes distress from Satan;
(3) and a dream that stems from what one is thinking about.
So whoever sees a dream which he does not like, he should get up and offer Salah (Prayer) and he should not relate it to others. (Related by Muslim)
