Clear Signs for those who believe...

SubhanAllah, an eclipse is one of the many Signs from Allah 'azz wajal. Allah says in the Quran, Surah Qiyamah:

"...Yet man still wants to deny what is ahead of him, asking, 'So when is the Day of Resurrection?' But when the eyesight is dazzled and the moon is eclipsed, and the sun and moon are fused together. On that Day man will say, 'Where can I run?' No indeed! There will be no safe place. That Day the only resting place will be your Lord" Surah Qiyamah [75:5-12]

Eclipses are signs from Allaah by means of which Allaah makes His slaves afraid. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “And We sent not the signs except to warn, and to make them afraid (of destruction)” Surah Isra [17:39]

 Let us make as much 'ibadah as possible, inshaaAllah, and may Allah save us and protect us from the trials in which He inflicts and may He forgive us all our sins, ameen.
