Friday Reminder

Narrated by Abu Hurairah (radhiAllaahu 'anhu): Allaah's Messenger (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said:

"When anyone of you prays the Jum'ah Prayer, he should pray four (optional) Rak'at after it."

Footnotes: There is a difference of opinion on how many Rak'at one should offer as Sunnah after the Friday prayer. Some recognize it to be just two Rak'at, whereas others prefer to offer four. Imam Shafi'i, Imam Ahmad and the majority of scholars hold this opinion, and it is the preferable one. The Hadeeth of four Rak'at, is a saying of the Prophet, sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam, himself and one should indeed act upon it accordingly.
