Life to the Dead, A Sign of His Creation

The Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) was asked:  

How does Allaah give life to the dead, and what is the sign of that in His creation? 

The Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: 

Have you not passed by your family's barren river? The man said: Yes. He said: And then you passed by it being full of life and green? 

The man said: Yes. The Prophet (sallAllaahu 'alayhi wa sallam) said: 

He[Allaah] also gives life to the dead, and that is His sign in His creation.
