"I am Salafi..."
Is referring oneself as a Salafi self-tazkiyah?
Shaykh al-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah stated:
"There is no blame on the one who openly manifests the madhhab of the Salaf, ascribes himself to it, and takes honour in it. Rather, that must be accepted from him due to the agreement (of the scholars). For verily the madhhab of the Salaf is nothing but Truth..."
